Welcome to Clair! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, design services, and related offerings. By visiting our site or hiring us for a project, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Overview

Clair provides web design and creative services to individuals, startups, and organizations. Our website and services are available at clair.studio.

By using our services, you agree to:

2. Services

We offer custom design solutions, including:

• Website design and development

• UI/UX strategy

• Branding and identity work

• Design templates (digital downloads)

Each project is scoped individually. Deliverables, timelines, and payment terms are detailed in proposals or contracts agreed upon before work begins.

3. Payments

All projects require payment under the terms agreed to during onboarding. Unless otherwise stated:

• A deposit may be required before the project starts

• Final files or access may be withheld until full payment is received

• For digital templates, sales are final upon purchase

We accept payments through secure third-party processors (e.g., Stripe or Lemon Squeezy).

4. Intellectual Property

a. Custom Projects

Upon full payment, you receive rights to use the final designs for your business purposes. Clair retains the right to display the work in our portfolio or promotional materials unless otherwise agreed.

b. Templates & Digital Goods

You are granted a non-exclusive license to use purchased templates for your own or your client’s projects. Redistribution, resale, or claiming the designs as your own is strictly prohibited.

5. Revisions & Feedback

We include a revision cycle in most projects. Feedback must be timely and clear. Excessive or out-of-scope changes may incur additional fees, which will be communicated beforehand.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use our site or services for unlawful or abusive purposes

• Try to access restricted areas or interfere with our systems

• Misrepresent your identity or business

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our services for any misuse.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

a. Custom Projects

Refunds for services are handled on a case-by-case basis. Deposits are generally non-refundable due to time and resource allocation.

b. Digital Products

All template sales are final. Due to the digital nature of the goods, we do not offer refunds.

8. Limitation of Liability

Clair is not liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

• Business losses resulting from use or misuse of our services

• Issues caused by third-party tools, platforms, or service interruptions

We provide services “as-is” and cannot guarantee specific outcomes.

9. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page. Continued use of the site or services after changes are made implies acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States.
